No longer Patience?
If there is one thing you can say about today’s society, it is the anticipation of immediate gratification. We want what we desire for, and we always want it fast. We want our internet speed to be 10 GBps, we want our Smartphone to have the same speed as our desktop. We are always widening our horizons, stretching our abilities beyond the limits of human comprehension, and pushing ourselves into unknown territory with every seconds ticked off.
We are enticed, tempted by promises of overnight wealth with virtually no any hard work to do in any way, and we have long since lost our gratitude for the toil and frustration of difficult labour in the old times, instead replacing it with modern technology that will complete the same amount of work in half the amount of time. Since when we have lost our virtual of patience?
