1. Three sets of the apparatus are set up for an experiment to study the properties of basic oxide and acidic oxide of elements in Period 3 of the Periodic Table of Elements.
2 A student carried out an experiment to determine the melting point of acetamide when the temperature of acetamide reached 70 degree Celcius, the stopwatch is started. The temperature of acetamide is recorded at 30 seconds interval until the temperature reaches 90 degree Celcius.
3 The main component of the body of ship is made up of iron. A few blocks of zinc metal are sticked at the bottom of the body of the ship to prevent iron from rusting. Referring to this situation, plan a laboratory experiment to compare the effect of a named metal that causes rusting and a named metal to prevent rusting.
